These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Seeker service provided by Found Technologies Ltd ("we," "us," "our"). By using our service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use our service.

1. Service Description
Seeker will search for stolen items on the following websites selling second-hand goods: eBay UK, Gumtree UK, Preloved UK, and Facebook Market Place UK.

Seeker will alert partner second-hand retail stores of the theft. View our 2nd hand retail store partner network here.

Users input details of their stolen item will be used as the search categories and our technology will use these details for search for matches.

Seeker will run daily automated searches for the exact period as stated in the details of each of our packages.​

2. No Guarantees and Refund Policy
2.1 No Guarantees: While we strive to find matches for your stolen items, we cannot guarantee that your item will be found. The search results depend on the information provided by you and the accuracy of the listings on the websites we search.

2.2 No Refunds: We do not offer refunds once you have paid for a search. Once payment is made, our technology is automatically set into action, and the service is considered delivered.

3. Limitations of Liability
3.1 Service Limitations: We do not accept responsibility for reclaiming items unless you specifically engage with us through our Found recovery agents. Our role is limited to providing information about potential matches.

3.2 Indirect Damages: We shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the service.

4. Data Privacy and Security
4.1 Personal Information: We take privacy and security seriously. Your personal information is protected and will not be shared with third parties. We delete your data once the search period has ended.

4.2 Confidentiality: All search queries are confidential and are only used for the purpose of finding your stolen item.

5. User Responsibilities
5.1 Accurate Information: You are responsible for providing accurate and complete information about your stolen item. The accuracy of our search results depends on the details you provide.

5.2 Proof of Ownership: To facilitate the recovery of your item, we recommend having proof of ownership ready to provide to insurers, law enforcement, or Found recovery agents.

6. Service Availability
6.1 Maintenance and Updates: We strive to keep our service available at all times. However, we may need to perform maintenance or updates that may temporarily interrupt the service.

6.2 Service Changes: We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

7. Third-Party Websites
7.1 External Links: Our service may include links to third-party websites. We do not endorse or assume any responsibility for these websites' content, privacy policies, or practices.

7.2 Data Crawling: Seeker uses data crawlers to scrape websites. The accuracy and legality of the data provided by third-party websites are beyond our control.

8. Prohibited Items
8.1 Prohibited Items: Our service does not support searches for banned items, firearms, or any other prohibited goods. You are solely responsible for ensuring that the items you report comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Ownership: All content, trademarks, logos, and data on our website and service are the property of Found Protect or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You are not permitted to use any of these without our prior written consent.

9.2 User Content: By submitting any content to our service (e.g., details of stolen items), you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide licence to use, modify, and display such content for the purpose of providing our service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
11.1 No Warranty: Our service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

11.2 Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
